Mikyajy 22K Extravagant Long Lasting Fluid Foundation Review

Retweet this button on every post blogger
I had promised few of my blogger friends I will review some Arab cosmetic brands as well so this is for all you who are interested in knowing how Arab ladies carry a flawless look despite using loads of products on their face!! I assume most of you are totally unaware of this amazing brand. So i will just give you a quick intro about the brand.

About Mikyajy:-
Mikyajy is one of the fastest growing cosmetic brands in the Middle East. They were launched in 1999.In a span of just 10 years this local Arab cosmetic brand has grown to such an extent that one can compare the products of this brand with highest level of European & American cosmetic brands !! It is ranked 29th in the Forbes Arabia Top 40 Arab Brands; an incredible achievement for a brand that was born just 10 years ago!

Review of 22K Extravagant Long Lasting Fluid Foundation:-

I thought I will start reviewing their basic products first & then move on to other products from their range. They have 2 main line of their premium cosmetics – Sabaya & 22K.

What Mikyajy says about this foundation:-
Finally, a foundation that really does last all day! With excellent coverage, and a silicone base that resists heat and humidity. Suitable for all skin types.

Quantity: - 35 ml
Price: - I got it for around Dhs. 85 or something. I’m not sure what the original price is, if you know the exact price please do let me know.
Shade I’m using: - 04 Desert Rose

My take on this foundation:-
It really does last all day!! I have used it in extreme heat & humidity conditions & my foundation still remained intact!! So I would really recommend this to you if you live in a really hot & humid city or country. I’m glad Mikyajy really thought about the weather conditions of gulf countries & created this product. I have a combination skin so it really suits me. This is actually a heavy coverage foundation but I thin it out using a water spray with it so it becomes medium coverage for me. The best part it’s a pump foundation!! No need for using different sponges or whatever you do to use a liquid foundation with no pump. I like the packaging also it looks posh with the golden cap & glass case. The only downside of this product is that it contains parabens. They have the following 10 shades available as of now:-

Check out Mikyajy’s official website for their amazing range of cosmetics.
I will be reviewing more Mikyajy products in the coming weeks so do keep a watch out for them J

Hello Samrah
Welcome to my blog :)
I wouldn't recommend this foundation if you have extremely oily skin. I suggest you to go to a MAC store and check out their range of matte foundations. Don't go for liquid foundations, instead try a cream to powder foundation or complete powder or mineral foundation.

As for a good oil controlling primer, I really love the smashbox photofinish foundation primer. you can purchase it from your local sephora outlet. It also comes in a small 15ml tube so you can check it out first if it works for your skin. Also, MAC has a matte matte-ifying creme which will suit your oily skin a lot prior to foundation.

Hope this helps :)
do drop an email if you still have further queries.
